In 2042, the Doges finally succeed in exploring Mars aboard the Starship, the spacecraft of SpaceX. Upon arrival, they immediately set out to explore the planet with terraforming plans in mind.

In 2042, the Doges finally succeed in exploring Mars aboard the Starship, the spacecraft of SpaceX. Upon arrival, they immediately set out to explore the planet with terraforming plans in mind.
On April 20, 2042, the Doges find themselves in danger
just as they are preparing to return to the Earth after their
Martian mission. A Martian sandstorm blocks out the sun,
and their batteries are drained as they can't recharge with
solar energy, leaving them stranded.
At their wits' end, a group of Pepes suddenly
appear. These Pepes, inhabitants of a highly advanced underground
city on Mars, generously gift the Doges some of their own antimatter,
dubbed the 'Pepetanium'.
With this incredibly efficient energy source, much more potent than their old batteries, the Doges manage to return to the Earth in just a week.
Back on the Earth, the Doges promptly convene a council.
With most of the Earth's resources nearly exhausted, they are
in desperate need of alternative materials.
The Doges decide that the pepetanium is the next big thing,
and they travel to Mars once again to secure additional supplies.
Once they arrive on Mars, the Doges attempt to negotiate with the Pepes
for more Pepetanium. However, the Pepes refuse their proposal.
In the escalating tension,
the frustrated Doges end up killing one of the Pepes.
On this fateful day,
June 9, 2042, the negotiations break down and a war
begins. ....
